IDSARM Vice Chair- Michael Horito michael@rocketshipdesign.com

Michael has been involved in the product development field professionally for over 10 years, during which time he has been a lead designer on over 100 products for companies like Buck Knives, Clear One Communications, Yamaha and Polaris. He is the founder of Rocketship, Inc., an industrial design and product development firm located in Provo, UT. The company was started in 2001 in a small shed on the side of his house, where the temperatures hit the 20’s in the winter, and boiling in the summer! Since then, the company has grown to a staff of 8 (and is no longer in the shed!), producing award winning products for a wide range of categories – from sporting equipment to consumer electronics to transportation. He is supported in his efforts by his wonderful wife, Kanani, and five wild children!
